Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Certified Young Naturalist at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. This fall program is designed for students in 6th–8th grade who are curious about the natural world and want to build a deeper connection with the Sonoran Desert. Participants will explore desert ecosystems, learn from Museum educators, and develop skills in observation, conservation, and scientific inquiry.

Cancellation Policy
Application Withdrawal Policy If you need to withdraw your application for the Young Naturalist program, please notify us as soon as possible so we may offer the opportunity to another student. Because there is no fee required at the time of application, there is no cancellation charge. You may request to withdraw your application by contacting the Conservation Education & Science Department at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum at education@desertmuseum.org.
