Where to Meet:    Desert Museum Education Annex

What to Expect:    We will collect fruit around the museum, clean it, demonstrate how to extract the juice using several methods, and demonstrate how to made jelly. You will take home your fruit. We will also show how the tender pads, called nopalitos can be prepared as a vegetable.

What to Bring:    Hat, tweezers, long sleeves and pants, close-toed shoes, water bottle, a bucket or large pot, tongs (if you own any). We will have extra tongs and extra buckets available, which you can use for collecting and later transfer into your own vessel.
